Notice of Special Endorsement Meeting
Hello ,
As you may know, a special election has been scheduled for April 8, 2025 to fill the vacancy at the County Board of Supervisors in District One. This is your official notice that on Saturday, February 8, the Democratic Woman’s Club of San Diego County will attempt to endorse in the special election. The meeting will begin at 2pm via zoom.
In order to receive a ballot, you must be a member in good standing who has attended at least two prior meetings, as a member, in the previous twelve months.

Only DWC-SD members who are eligible to vote on endorsements as of February 8, 2025 will be receiving a coded ballot for this meeting.
Paid members who have not met the attendance requirement are eligible to speak but not vote.
What to expect:
Candidates will each have five minutes to speak.
There will be member discussion where we will invite up to three members in support of each candidate (or no endorsement)and up to three in opposition to each candidate (or no endorsement)to speak for one minute each.
Members will be able to vote using their secure online ballot anytime until close of voting is called at approx. 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
All votes are received anonymously and tabulated electronically. The DWC-SD Endorsement Counting team, will validate and report the results.
Reminder, you will only be able to vote once, so please mark and review your ballot carefully. You will not be able to change your vote once you click submit.
